My Experience with TikTok: Creating Music and Animation Using AI


Introduction


Hello, my name is Roland Resseguier, and I am a student passionate about technology, creativity, and new forms of artistic expression. Recently, I decided to embark on a unique experiment: creating a TikTok account to explore the possibilities offered by artificial intelligence (AI) tools for music and animation creation. My goal was to discover how tools like Suno (for music) and the Chinese AI Qween (for animation) could help me produce creative and engaging content.

In this article, I share my experience, the challenges I faced, and the incredible things I learned while using these technologies. If you're curious about how AI can transform content creation or are considering diving into a similar adventure, this article is for you!


Why TikTok?


TikTok is much more than just an entertainment platform. It’s a space where creativity reigns, and users can experiment with a variety of formats, from dances and tutorials to animations and musical compositions. For me, TikTok was the ideal place to test innovative ideas and share my discoveries with a dynamic community.

When I created my account, I wanted to explore two specific areas:


  1. Creating music with Suno: an AI tool that allows you to compose melodies and beats in just a few clicks.

  2. Creating animations with Qween: a Chinese AI that generates stylized animations from simple text descriptions.

Creating Music with Suno

Suno is an incredible tool for music enthusiasts like me who don’t necessarily have formal musical training. Here’s how I used it:

  1. Exploring the Interface: Suno offers an intuitive interface where you can choose musical styles (pop, electronic, classical, etc.), adjust tempos, and add virtual instruments.

  2. Creating Melodies: I started by experimenting with simple melodies. The AI suggested variations and chords to enrich my compositions.

  3. Adding Beats: Suno allowed me to integrate dynamic beats, bringing my creations to life.

  4. Exporting for TikTok: Once the music was complete, I could export it directly to use in my TikTok videos.

What impressed me the most was how quickly I could produce original tracks. Suno showed me that music creation is no longer reserved for professionals—thanks to AI, anyone can give it a try.


Creating Animations with Qween


Qween is a Chinese AI specialized in generating animations. Here’s how I used it for my TikTok videos:


  1. Text Descriptions: I started by writing simple descriptions of what I wanted to see in my animations (for example, "a cat dancing in the rain" or "a futuristic city at night").

  2. Customization: Qween offers options to adjust the animation style (realistic, cartoon, abstract, etc.). I chose styles that matched the vibe of my videos.

  3. Quick Generation: In just a few seconds, Qween transformed my descriptions into smooth and visually appealing animations.

  4. Integration into TikTok: I downloaded the animations and combined them with the music I created using Suno to produce unique videos.

Qween opened the door to a world where imagination is the only limit. Even without drawing or animation skills, I was able to create captivating visuals that caught the attention of TikTok users.


The Challenges I Faced


While this experience was enriching, it wasn’t without its challenges:


  1. Learning the Tools: Suno and Qween are powerful, but it took some time to master their features.

  2. Originality: With AI, it’s easy to fall into creating generic content. I had to experiment to find a unique style.

  3. Engagement on TikTok: Creating content is one thing, but capturing users’ attention is another. I had to learn how to optimize my videos to maximize their reach.

The Results: Feedback and Reactions

Overall, the response to my TikTok content was positive. Here are some key takeaways:
